Islands Live Session On iTunes

Islands made their six-song Live Session EP available exclusively through iTunes on Tuesday.

Four of the tracks are live versions of songs from Islands' fine sophomore album, Arm's Way, which was released on CD and digitally in May and on vinyl last month. There are also live covers of Sinead O'Connor's "Red Football" and Spiritualized's "Broken Heart" that weren't on that LP or the Montreal band's 2006 Return To The Sea debut.

Islands are in the midst of a European tour, but will return to Canada to headline a Halifax Pop Explosion show at The Marquee Club with Sebastien Grainger, The Got To Get Got and Ruby Coast on Oct. 25.
