Priestess Rock The Road

Montreal hard rock merchants Priestess will road-test material they're working on for their sophomore album on a month-long tour beginning in November.

Lead singer/guitarist Mikey Heppner, bassist Mike Dyball, vocalist/drummer Vince Nudo and vocalist/guitarist Dan Watchorn released their Hello Master debut in 2006 and have since toured with Megadeth, Motorhead, Mastodon and other rock heavyweights. "Lay Down" gained more fans for the band when it was included on the Guitar Hero video game.

Priestess are now in the studio recording their still-untitled second LP with producer David Schiffman (System Of A Down, Nine Inch Nails).

"I'm happy to say that it's going extremely well," says Heppner. "Everything is sounding juicy and rip-tastic.

"Coming from a dude who has only made one record prior to this one, I'm still going to say it's the best shit we've ever done, and we can't wait to put it out."
