Thursday have signed with heavyweight punk label Epitaph, which will release their fifth album sometime next year.
The band began their career in 1997 on Eyeball Records and later had a handful of releases on Victory and Island Records. Thursday signed to Epitaph last month because the band say they share similar values with the label.
"We've always believed that music has the power to change lives and that all of us who have been lucky enough to make music for a living have a responsibility to try and make the world a more compassionate and livable place in any small way that we can," says frontman Geoff Rickly. "We hope that with Epitaph's help and guidance, we can do our part."
Thursday's last LP was 2006's A City By The Light Divided. They released a split album with Envy earlier this year.
