3 Inches Of Blood Tour

Vancouver's 3 Inches Of Blood will tour western Canada in support of last year's Fire Up The Blades.

They'll have U.K. thrashers Evile with them on most of the dates, but will be joined by Montreal's Priestess, Vancouver's Bison B.C. and Toronto's Flash Lightnin' on Nov. 29 for a one-off show at Vancouver's Commodore Ballroom.

While ChartAttack would never encourage such practices, don't be surprised if dead animals are part of some of the 3 Inches Of Blood shows. It seems to be a trend, according to Jamie Hooper, the band's designated screamer.

"In Cincinnati, we had a fellow come onstage with a pig's head on a stick. He fell down and dropped the head and we had to soccer ball kick it off the stage. Then, in Fargo, North Dakota, a guy came on holding a severed deer's head over his head. The tongue was sticking out and blood was dripping all over his face. How much more metal can you get than that?"

All members will be able to attend a soundcheck and/or a meet-and-greet session during the tour at all the shows except Vancouver.
