Feist Gets Charitable On Tour

If you see Feist on her upcoming Canadian tour, you'll have the chance to support four charities.
The Canadian Association Of Food Banks' local affiliates will hold food drives at every date on Feist's tour with Hayden. Concert-goers are asked to bring a non-perishable food item to each respective venue. One person will win a piece of limited-edition Feist memorabilia at every date.
If you buy merchandise at any of the tour stops, charities CARE Canada, Doctors Without Borders and War Child Canada will receive all the proceeds.
"It's exciting to see an artist like Feist show her support to Canadian food banks by initiating this concert food drive," says Canadian Association Of Food Banks executive director Katharine Schmidt. "We know that food banks in each of the 13 communities she will be playing will greatly benefit from the generosity of her audience."
Feist is still riding high on the success of her third album, The Reminder, which was released last year. It has since sold more than 1.2 million copies worldwide, has been certified gold in the U.S. and double-platinum in Canada. She won five Juno Awards earlier this year.
