Pukey Winehouse To Get Makeover?

Maybe burlesque queen Dita Von Teese can get Amy Winehouse to stop puking on designer clothes.

Von Teese told OK! Magazine that she wants to make Winehouse over following the singer's Sept. 14 birthday party, which Winehouse apparently wouldn't attend because she didn't fancy the way she looked in a mirror. (Drugs make you age faster, Amy.)

"No matter how much she breaks down, she still has the beehive of sorts and the outfits and eyeliner," said Von Teese. "When I see pictures of her I wish I could tidy her up a bit."

Winehouse didn't tidy up several silk and satin dresses she reportedly borrowed from the U.K.'s upscale Harvey Nichols department store before she returned them, though. The dresses, which Winehouse borrowed for London Fashion Week, cost about 25,000 pounds (about $46,300 Canadian). The state Winehouse returned them in has gotten her blacklisted from the store's lending list.

"Unfortunately, while wearing one of the frocks, she went on an all-night bender," a source told the U.K.'s Daily Mirror tabloid. "She ended up in the loos, where she was violently sick. Let's just say it wasn't pretty.

"She eventually couriered them back on Monday, but didn't wrap them separately. So sick had gone on all the clothes. Even worse, green, fuzzy mould had developed on some gowns, making them unwearable.

"The store publicists weren't best pleased. They send stuff out to celebs all the time, but it never gets into such a state. I doubt Amy will be sent any more designer gear for a while and the store has now asked for its $46,250 back."

Winehouse may also soon be reunited with incarcerated husband Blake Fielder-Civil, who's currently doing time for perverting the course of justice.

According to Britain's The Sun tabloid, Fielder-Civil has accepted an early release offer so long as he stays at his mother's house in Lincolnshire, wears an electronic bracelet and keeps a 7 p.m. curfew. He's reportedly going to travel by taxi from Lincolnshire to Winehouse's London, England flat to see her every day, even though it's a 450-kilometre round trip.

Let's hope Winehouse dresses for the occasion.
