After Controller.Controller singer Nirmala Basnayake left the band, bassist Ronnie Morris and drummer Jeff Scheven formed a group with No Dynamics' Vanessa Fischer. They'll release Lioness' self-titled debut EP on Oct. 14 through New Romantic.
Rob Sanzo (Treble Charger, Voivod) recorded the EP at Toronto's Signal To Noise Studios. Nilesh "Nilz" Patel (Daft Punk, Air) mastered it at London, England's The Exchange. Lioness will be available on CD, vinyl and as a download. If you're curious to see what the band sound like, you can hear "You're My Heart" on their MySpace page.
