Beatles/Cirque Doc Coming To DVD

All Together Now, the documentary about Love, the Las Vegas stage production featuring The Beatles' music reimagined and augmented by performances by Cirque Du Soleil acrobats, will come to DVD on Oct. 21 via EMI Music.
All Together Now recounts the production's roots in a friendship between late Beatle George Harrison and Cirque Du Soleil founder Guy Laliberte. Director Adrian Willis travelled to London, England, Montreal and Las Vegas and shot meetings between Cirque Du Soleil and Apple Corps Ltd. The film also features contributions from Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Yoko Ono, Olivia Harrison and George Martin.
The 125-minute DVD contains the original documentary and three bonus features. One looks at the making of Love, including its costumes, staging and props. Another examines the decision-making process behind Love, while the third looks at its music. The DVD is dedicated to the memory of late Apple Corps CEO Neil Aspinall, All Together Now's executive producer.
All Together Now was first screened in the spring at North American film festivals, including Toronto's Hot Docs. It will be shown on Oct. 2 at the Edmonton International Film Festival and at Montreal's Festival Du Nouveau Cinema on Oct. 9.
The Love soundtrack was released in 2006 and won two Grammy Awards.
