If watching 32 episodes of Canadian Idol wasn't enough for you, you can catch winner Theo Tams, runner-up Mitch MacDonald and third-place-finisher Drew Wright across Canada this fall and early winter.

The Canadian Idol tour will feature songs performed on the show, Tams' "Sing" single and one original composition from each member of the trio. The three men will be joined by Idol wannabes who made the final 10 in certain cities across the country. Quebec, B.C. and Newfoundland will be spared. Tickets are on sale now through each venue.

Tams was crowned the 2008 Canadian Idol winner on Wednesday night and signed a record contract with Sony BMG Music Canada. His name can now be mentioned with previous Idol winners Brian Melo, Ryan Malcolm, Kalan Porter, Eva Avila and Melissa O'Neil who've all done... pretty much nothing with their careers after the initial hoopla died down.

The comment about all the Idol winners doing pretty much nothing since the initial hoopla died down is true except in the case of Melissa O'Neil.  At least she's had a steady gig in the musical Dirty Dancing.
