Rae Spoon's Superiorinferiority Complex

Folk-rock singer/songwriter Rae Spoon will self-release his fourth album, SuperiorYouAreInferior, on Oct. 7.

Singer/songwriter Lorrie Matheson co-produced Spoon's first album in more than two years at his Calgary studio. Spoon, who is transgendered (FTM), wrote the record while on sojourn in a small German town. Five songs from SuperiorYouAreInferior can be previewed on Spoon's MySpace page.

Spoon's Honking At Minivans debut EP was released in 2001 and was followed by albums, the last of which was 2006's White Hearse Comes Rolling.
