You might remember that The Dears recently became a duo when everyone except singer/guitarist/keyboardist Murray Lightburn and his wife, keyboardist Natalia Yanchak, left the band during the recording of their upcoming new album, Missiles. The Dears are now a septet after the addition of five new members, and they've lined up some gigs so you can see them in advance of Missiles' Oct. 21 release through MapleMusic.
New members Jason Kent (guitar, vocals, keyboards), Pony Up's Lisa Smith (bass, keyboards) and Laura Wills (keyboards, vocals), Kill The Lights' Yann Geoffroy (drums, keyboards) and Land Of Talk's Christopher McCarron (guitar) will be along for the ride when The Dears play these Canadian shows:
Sept. 30 Waterloo, ON @ Starlight
Oct. 1 Hamilton, ON @ The Casbah
Oct. 2 Montreal, QC @ Masonic Memorial Temple
Oct. 9-10 Toronto, ON @ The Music Gallery
Here's what's on Missiles:

"Dream Job"
"Money Babies"
"Berlin Heart"
"Lights Off"
"Crisis I & II"
"Demons"
"Missiles"
"Meltdown In A Major"
"Saviour"
