Stars Make Sad Robots

Polaris Music Prize finalists Stars will release their downloadable six-track Sad Robots EP exclusively through sadrobots.ca on Sept. 1.

A live version of "Going, Going, Gone" from Stars' Nightsongs debut album will be available for free download on the site the same day that Sad Robots becomes available. Sad Robots was written and recorded this past summer in Stars' hometown of Montreal at Studio Plateau.

A limited-edition physical copy of the EP will be available at shows during Stars' North American tour that begins on Sept. 17. Here are their Canadian dates with Hey Rosetta!:
