Plants And Animals will perform their last two summer shows in Quebec before embarking on a North American fall tour that begins at Toronto's Horseshoe Tavern on Sept. 18. Toronto indie pop-rockers Born Ruffians will tag along in October.

They'll vie for three Quebec Indie Music Awards (artist, international career and indie rock album of the year) at the Sept. 21 awards show at Montreal's Corona Theatre. Parc Avenue is also one of 10 finalists for this year's Polaris Music Prize. The group will perform at the Sept. 29 Polaris gala at Toronto's Phoenix Concert Theatre.
