Montreal electro-pop duo Hexes & Ohs may have been naughty while recording their new album, but you'll have to listen to Bedroom Madness when it comes out on Sept. 2 to find out for sure.
The Noise Factory Records release is the official follow-up to 2005's Goodbye Friend, Welcome Lover debut. It was produced by Byron Wong (David Usher, The Crystal Method). Hexes & Ohs self-released a limited-edition tour EP titled Motion K'Motion EP two years ago.
Five songs from Bedroom Madness can be previewed on Hexes & Ohs' MySpace page.
Hexes & Ohs are composed of high school sweethearts Edmund Lam and Heidi Donnelly, who recorded their first album in their apartment. They share duties on vocals, guitars, laptop, synthesizers and drums, while Donnelly also plays bass.
The video for "H-H-Highschool" was directed by Alon Isocianu and has been nominated for two CraveFest International Music Awards, which will be presented on Aug. 17 at Toronto's Tattoo Rock Parlour. The group will perform as part of the show. You can also see them here:
