Metal/Punk Fans: Tour Alerts

A triple-bill featuring Cancer Bats, Johnny Truant and Black Lungs will make its way across western and central Canada in September and October.

Toronto's Cancer Bats are supporting their Hail Destroyer album and are in the midst of a North American tour with Bullet For My Valentine and Bleeding Through. They'll play six dates in and three Ontario shows before embarking on that tour we mentioned in the first paragraph.

Brighton, England metal band Johnny Truant will showcase songs from No Tears For The Creatures at a series of Ontario shows with Straight Reads The Line before hooking up with Cancer Bats and Black Lungs.

Black Lungs, led by Alexisonfire guitarist Wade MacNeil, will play five U.K. gigs in support of their Send Flowers album. They'll come back to Canada for six shows with Anti-Flag, The Creepshow and The A.K.A.s before joining Cancer Bats and Johnny Truant.
