Bison B.C.'s New Name And Album

Formerly known as Bison, newly named riff-heavy rock band Bison B.C. will release their Quiet Earth debut album on Sept. 30 through Metal Blade Records.

Bison B.C. emerged from the ashes of Vancouver skate-thrash band S.T.R.E.E.T.S. After releasing their Earthbound EP last year, the group signed with Metal Blade in June. Earthbound will be available from iTunes Canada on Sept. 2. The quartet recorded Quiet Earth with Jesse Gander (3 Inches Of Blood, Subhumans) at The Hive Studios in Burnaby, B.C.
