Flash Lightnin' are finally taking their southern rock boogie tunes from small club stages to your home with their first CD, Destello.
The six-track disc (whose title means "flash" in Spanish) will follow The New Odds' Cheerleader as the second release from Toronto's Pheromone Recordings when it arrives in stores on Aug. 26. It was recorded live off the floor by lead guitarist/vocalist Darren Glover, bassist Darcy Yates and drummer Chris Henry, who first made a name for themselves through their Wednesday night residency at Toronto's Dakota Tavern.
"Made Up My Mind" can be previewed on Flash Lightnin's MySpace page.
Here are the tracks on Destello:
"Coming On Strong"
"Down Down"
"Someone Else"
"Tripped And Fell"
"Walking Blues"
"Made Up My Mind"
