Montreal indie pop band Land Of Talk will release their first full-length album, Some Are Lakes, on Oct. 7.
Singer/guitarist Elizabeth Powell, bassist Chris McCarron and drummer Andrew Barr (The Slip) recorded the follow-up to 2006's Applause Cheer Boo Hiss EP in Montreal with Justin Vernon (a.k.a. Bon Iver). It will be made available in Canada through Secret City Records and in the U.S. through Saddle Creek.
The title track is the first single. "Young Bridge" can be heard on the band's MySpace page.

Here are the songs on Some Are Lakes:
"Yuppy Flu"
"Death By Fire"
"The Man Who Breaks Things (Dark Shuffle)"
"Some Are Lakes"
"Give Me Back My Heart Attack"
"It's Okay"
"Young Bridge"
