The Got To Get Got and Bruce Peninsula are teaming up for a series of dates in support of their respective new seven-inch releases.
The Got To Get Got were formed in Vancouver in the winter of 2006 by former North Of America members Mark Mullane and Mark Colavecchia. They released their Canadian Arts Collective Blues/Huge Zig Zag debut EP through NOYES Records a short time later. They're recording their first full-length, which is due out next year, but just completed the "Rattle Off" single that they'll issue via Out Of Touch Records in conjunction with the tour.
Toronto's Bruce Peninsula have been performing as an 11-piece experimental folk act (with three drummers and a five-woman choir) throughout Ontario for the past few years. They've just finished recording their first full-length, A Mountain Is A Mouth. While the album is expected to be released in the fall, three songs from it are being bundled on a seven-inch courtesy of Escape Goat Records.
