Atlas Sound Vinyl Bonanza

Let's say you live in North America and you bought Atlas Sound's Let The Blind Lead Those Who Can See But Cannot Feel when it came out earlier this year. Let's also say you have a European friend who bought it, too. That friend got more than you because the European version of the album included a six-song bonus disc that wasn't included with the North American release.
If you thought that wasn't fair, maybe your feelings will be assuaged a bit with Kranky Records' July 28 double-vinyl release of Let The Blind… with these six tracks: "Another Bedroom," "It Rained," "Stained Glass Swan," "Abandoned Closet," "Spring Break" and "ABC Glasgow."
Atlas Sound frontman Bradford Cox's main band, Deerhunter, will team with Jay Reatard for his next seven-inch single. Reatard will cover Deerhunter's "Flourescent Grey," while Deerhunter will tackle Reatard's "Oh It's Such A Shame." The single will be out on July 22 through Matador Records.
Atlas Sound and El Guincho will play Toronto's Mod Club on July 22 and Montreal's La Sala Rossa the next night. Deerhunter will open for Nine Inch Nails at Toronto's Air Canada Centre on Aug. 5.
