U2 Offer Rarities On Reissues

A wealth of B-sides, live tracks and remixes will be packed on to reissues of U2's early albums Boy (1980), October (1981) and War (1983) by Universal on July 22.

Each album will be available on vinyl, as a single remastered CD or as a deluxe set with a second disc of extras. New liner notes, previously unseen photos and full lyrics are included with each album. The Edge contributed notes on the bonus material.

A remastered and expanded version of The Joshua Tree was reissued last year.

U2 have been recording a new album in France and Morocco with longtime producers Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois. No release date has been set, but the new LP may be available before the end of the year via Interscope.
