Producer Scott Storch Faces Problems

Record producer Scott Storch is having some legal difficulties. Not only does he owe about $512,000 U.S. in outstanding property taxes, but he's $46,000 behind in child support payments to his ex-wife, Dalene Jennifer Daniel, for his two-year-old son, Jalen.

The 34-year-old — who has worked with Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Dr. Dre and Paris Hilton, among others — has a warrant out for his arrest. Storch failed to appear at a child support hearing, leading Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Marc Schumacher to issue a pick-up order allowing authorities to jail him until he appears in court.

Storch may be released only if he's able to post a $46,000 bond — $30,000 for delayed child support payments and another $16,000 for Jalen’s pre-paid college plan.

If that wasn't enough, Storch just got drilled with another paternity suit. According to an emergency motion filed by Vanessa Bellido, Storch owes her and her 16-year-old son Steven money for "monthly rent, private school and child support."

Bellido, 33, says that Storch is Steven’s “natural father,” and that he had voluntarily sent her money up until January for Steven. Now that his payments have stopped, Bellido claims Storch still owes $5,000 in tuition fees for Steven’s junior year at American Heritage School in Plantation, Fla.

“He intends to honour all of his obligations,'' Storch’s lawyer, Guy Spiegelman, told the Miami Herald. “He was a victim of mismanagement of his business enterprises, resulting in his current predicament.''

Storch is in the process of refinancing his home in order to rectify his financial dilemma. Good thing his Miami Beach estate is worth a cool $10.5 million.
