Perhaps you caught one — or many — of Dallas Green's City And Colour gigs on his recent Canadian tour. Maybe you enjoyed the performance(s) so much that you're thinking it would be nice if City And Colour were to record a live album. Well, City And Colour isn't exactly doing that, but Green is digitally releasing two solo acoustic sessions he recorded earlier this year. Maybe that will cure your itch a bit.

When Green was in New York City earlier this year, he went to the MySpace Transmissions studio for an interview and a City And Colour solo acoustic set of songs from his Bring Me Your Love sophomore album. You can hear the set and watch a video of the performance and interview now at the MySpace Transmissions website. Americans can buy the set through Amazon.com, while those outside the U.S. can get it through Mymerchtable.com. City And Colour also recorded an iTunes session that will be available through the iTunes store on June 17 in Canada and June 24 in the U.S.

City And Colour recently shot a video for "Sleeping Sickness" with director Vincent Morisset (Arcade Fire). The video for "Waiting…" has been nominated for a People's Choice prize and best cinematography honours at Sunday's MuchMusic Video Awards.

City And Colour will perform here:

June 21 Regina, SK @ Education Auditorium (University Of Regina)
June 22 Calgary, AB @ Fort Calgary (Virgin Festival)
July 20 Toronto, ON @ Fort York (Rogers Picnic)

Here are the tracks on City And Colour's MySpace Transmissions session:

"Against The Grain"
"Body In A Box"
"What Makes A Man?"
"As Much As I Ever Could"
"The Girl"
"Love Don't Live Here Anymore" (Rose Royce cover)

Here's what's on City And Colour's iTunes Session:

"Body In A Box"
"What Makes A Man?"
"The Death Of Me"
"Waiting…"
"Against The Grain"
"Hello, I'm In Delaware"
