If one live CD/DVD set of My Chemical Romance's brand of angsty emo wasn't enough for you, you can pick up another when The Black Parade Is Dead! drops on June 24 through Reprise Records.
The package is the group's second live CD/DVD set. Their first was 2006's Life On The Murder Scene, which featured a variety of live performances and demos from 2001 to 2005. The Black Parade Is Dead! documents two MCR concerts recorded last October during their The Black Parade world tour.
The band's performance at Mexico City's Palacio De Los Deportes is captured on CD. Fans can watch that show and another performance at Maxwell's in Hoboken, N.J. on the DVD, which was directed by Adam Rothlein (Disturbed, Green Day). A trailer for the DVD can be previewed at theblackparadeisdead.com. Fans who pre-order the live set from the same site will receive free downloads of "Welcome To The Black Parade," "Mama" and "Dead!" from the Mexico City live CD.
A limited-edition of the album is also available for pre-order from the site for $59.99 U.S. It includes the CD and DVD, one of five hand-painted masks that were designed by each member of MCR, a pine coffin box with the MCR logo burned into it, and a "Death Certificate Of Authenticity" that comes with a print of each member's autograph.
