There will be a few music components to the Canadian Film Centre's 14th annual Worldwide Short Film Festival taking place in Toronto from June 10 to 15.

The fifth year of the Scene Not Herd program will feature an array of groundbreaking music videos from the likes of Arcade Fire, The New Pornographers, Vampire Weekend, Gnarls Barkley and Bjork, whose 3D "Wanderlust" video will make its Canadian premiere. Twenty-one videos will be shown at The Royal Cinema on June 13 at both 7 and 9:30 p.m. An after-party featuring performances by Emily Haines & The Soft Skeleton, Cancel Winter, Super Fantastic Soundsystem and Kids And Explosions will take place that night from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. at the Gibson Showroom. Show your Scene Not Herd ticket stub for admission.

Other somewhat music-related films include: About Face, starring former Headstones frontman Hugh Dillon; Song Of Slomon, about an Orthodox rabbi who questions his faith when he becomes obsessed with a dance song; and I Am Bob, which sees former Boomtown Rats singer Bob Geldof playing himself, but no-one believes him since he's at a look-alike convention.

North America's largest short film festival will present 268 films from 31 countries. More details are available on the festival's website.
