The Fratellis Make A Stand On Sophomore Album

After a load of critical acclaim, a 2007 Brit Award for best British breakthrough act and a million-selling worldwide debut, The Fratellis are ready to build on that momentum with the June 10 release of Here We Stand.
You may know The Fratellis best from the ridiculously catchy "Flathead" from an iPod commercial (that seems to be working for people a lot lately — even the Caesars have a new album). The Glasgow, Scotland band are ready to prove they're more than one-hit wonders with Cherry Tree/Interscope's follow-up release to last year's Costello Music. "Mistress Mabel" will be the first single from the self-produced album and can be previewed on the trio's MySpace page.
"If Scotland had produced The Who, we would've been called The Fratellis," said The Who's Roger Daltrey after a show with The Fratellis at London, England's Royal Albert Hall last month.
The Fratellis are composed of lead singer/guitarist Jon Fratelli, bassist Barry Fratelli and drummer Mince Fratelli, but those aren't their real last names. They took them from the villainous family in the 1985 film, The Goonies.
Here are the tracks on Here We Stand:
"My Friend John""A Heady Tale"
"Shameless"
"Look Out Sunshine"
"Straggler's Moon"
"Mistress Mabel"
"Jesus Stole My Baby"
"Baby Doll"
"Tell Me A Lie"
"Acid Jazz Singer"
"Lupe Brown"
"Milk And Honey"
