Singer/songwriter/guitarist/harmonica player Ken Tizzard, better known to many as the bassist for The Watchmen and Thornley in the past, is looking to the future with his sophomore solo effort, Lost In Awe.
The 14-song follow-up to 2006's Quiet Storey House… An Introduction was produced by John Whynot (Big Wreck, Change Of Heart) at Blue Rodeo's Woodshed Studios in Toronto.
“Every line on this CD brings a picture or a face to mind," says Tizzard. "This is some of the most personal and reflective music I have ever been a part of."
The St. John's, Nfld. native will support the May 27 release of the stripped-down, folk-oriented Lost In Awe with an Ontario tour and lone shows in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. You can see Tizzard here:
