Silverstein, IllScarlett And Cancer Bats To Play S.C.E.N.E. Music Festival

Silverstein, IllScarlett, Cancer Bats, Teenage Head and Alexisonfire guitarist Wade McNeil's Black Lungs side project are among those confirmed to play the 13th annual S.C.E.N.E. (St. Catharines Event For New Music Entertainment) Music Festival in St. Catharines, Ont. on June 29.

A total of 151 performers will play at 12 venues, with more acts to be announced soon.

Tickets are on sale now through Ticketmaster, maplemusic.com and many southern Ontario record stores. More information is available through the S.C.E.N.E website.

This year's event will also feature a marketplace pavilion for independent record labels and the festival's sixth annual mixtape/CD trade run by the Niagara Mixtape Union.

The first S.C.E.N.E Music Festival was held in 1995 and featured 20 acts. Fucked Up, Alexisonfire, City And Colour, Neverending White Lights, Constantines and Bedouin Soundclash are among those who've played the event since then.
