It appears that Vampire Weekend will add some world beat, new wave spookiness to the second annual Rogers Picnic at Toronto’s Fort York on July 20.
Promoters wouldn’t officially confirm the addition to the lineup, but expect an announcement soon. City And Colour will headline the all-day festival, which will also feature performances by Cat Power, Tokyo Police Club, Chromeo, Animal Collective, Dizzee Rascal, Born Ruffians and The Carps. DJs will spin between live sets.
More details, including ticket information, can be found at The Rogers Picnic website.
