The Awkward Stage Look Good On New Album

Slimming Mirrors, Flattering Lights, The Awkward Stage's follow-up to 2006's Heaven Is For Easy Girls debut, will be released by Mint Records on June 10.
Group leader, multi-instrumentalist, actor and cremationist Shane Nelken was joined on the album by guitarist Tygh Runyan (The Beans), percussionist Tony Koelwyn (Bossanova) and trumpeter Chris Mitchell (Vancouver Symphony Orchestra).
