Wintersleep To Headline Wolfe Island Musicfest

The 10th annual Wolfe Island Musicfest in Kingston, Ont. will feature a variety of artists on Aug. 8 and 9.

The first night will see the return of Carolyn Mark and Luther Wright's "Hootenanny Review," which will include Jenny Whiteley, Joey Wright, The Abrams Brothers and other friends at 8 p.m. Wolf Parade side project The Handsome Furs and Magic Jordan will take the stage at The General Wolfe Hotel at 10:30 p.m.

Wintersleep, who won the best new group Juno Award earlier this month, will headline Saturday's show, which begins at 1 p.m. The lineup also features Jason Collett, The Acorn, Cadence Weapon, Plants And Animals, Land Of Talk, Tony Scherr, The D'Urbervilles, Music Maul and P.S. I Love You!.

Tickets for Friday cost $15, while Saturday's performances will set you back $25. Camping is available on site for another $10. Proceeds from the festival go to the Wolfe Island Community Centre. Visit the Wolfe Island website for more information.
