A Tribe Called Quest, Nas, Mos Def And Others To Rock The Bells This Summer

If you long to return to the mid-'90s, when alternative rap ruled the hip-hop airwaves, don't go running for Marty McFly and his Delorean just yet. Head for a stop on the Rock The Bells tour instead.
The festival will make Canadian stops in Toronto on July 20 and Vancouver on Aug. 30. Venues haven't been confirmed yet. The reunited A Tribe Called Quest will headline Rock The Bells, which will be hosted by B-Real, Supernatural and Scratch. The lineups will vary for each show and, for the Canadian concerts, may depend on who can get across the border.
Tickets go on sale on May 17 through Ticketmaster and guerillaunion.com. The first Rock The Bells was held in 2003 in California. It became a traveling festival last year. Previous performers include GZA, Rage Against The Machine, Wu-Tang Clan and Cypress Hill.
