After releasing Over The Counter Culture exclusively as a free digital download last year, singer/songwriter/sound manipulator Tim Fite is back with more music — but this time it carries a price tag.
The Brooklyn, N.Y.-based artist will release his fifth album, Fair Ain't Fair, on May 6 via Anti- Records. It's his first physical recording since his 2005 Anti- debut, Gone Ain't Gone.
Fite has built a solid reputation among music critics for taking samples from bargain bin records and layering his own beats and often provocative lyrics over them in his bedroom.
Here are the tracks on Fair Ain't Fair:
"Roots Of A Tree""Trouble"
"The Barber"
"Big Mistake"
"Inside Man"
"Rats And Rags"
"Yesterday's Garden"
"Thought I Was A Gun"
"The Names Of All The Animals"
"Motorcade"
"More Clothes"
"Harriet Tubman"
"My Hands"
"Heaven Is War"
"Sing Along"
"Line By Line"
