Rebekah Higgs To Tour The Country

Rebekah Higgs

Halifax singer/songwriter Rebekah Higgs will take her brand of sound-sculptured pop across the country on a tour that begins next week.

Higgs is touring in support of her self-titled sophomore album, which she originally self-released in 2006 before Outside Music reissued it last year. Her Road To Eden debut came out in 2005. The 25-year-old was nominated for best female solo recording and best new artist at this year's East Coast Music Awards. She also played last month's South By Southwest Music Festival in Austin, Texas. When not playing solo, she also tours and records with trip-hop group Ruby Jean And The Thoughtful Bees.
