Magnetic Morning, a new side project featuring Interpol drummer Sam Fogarino and Swervedriver vocalist/guitarist Adam Franklin, will release a self-titled EP on April 19 to coincide with Record Store Day.
The DH Records release features four original songs and a cover of The Kinks' "The Way Love Used To Be." A full-length debut should follow later this year. You can hear previews on the band's MySpace page.
Fogarino and Franklin formed the group after meeting two years ago through Jack Rabid of The Big Takeover magazine. They were previously known as The Setting Suns, but changed their name after they discovered a New York band called Setting Sun.
Here are the tracks on Magnetic Morning:
"Yesterday's Flowers""The Way Love Used To Be"
