Tokyo Police Club To Release Bonus Disc With Elephant Shell

When you rush to the record store to pick up Tokyo Police Club's Elephant Shell on April 22, you'll get a little something extra along with it.

Copies of the long-awaited debut LP from the April 2008 Chart cover stars will include a five-song bonus CD featuring remixes of Elephant Shell tracks by Dntel, Tom from Los Campesinos!, Flowers Forever, The Good Life and Field Music. If you live in the U.K., you'll get a seven-song bonus disc with the same tracks as the North American version as well as a cover of "Friends Of P" by former Weezer bassist Matt Sharp's The Rentals and the previously unreleased (and apparently new) "New New Song."

Tokyo Police Club recently added to their list of Canadian tour dates. They return north of the border on April 18 for a show in Ottawa and will play a series of shows with Smoosh, Ruby Coast, Attack In Black and Winter Gloves until May 17. Here are the dates:
