Supergrass Show Off Their Collective Diamond Hoo Ha On New Album

It looks like Supergrass will enter the contest for the most amusing album title of 2008 when they release Diamond Hoo Ha on April 15 through Astralwerks.
We'll leave it up to you to decide exactly what the phrase "Diamond Hoo Ha" means. At any rate, the disc might just give Martha Wainwright's I Know You're Married But I've Got Feelings Too a run for the money for the most hilarious album title of the year.
The Oxford, England band's sixth studio release was produced by Nick Launay (Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds, Silverchair) in Berlin, Germany. It was released on March 24 in the U.K. and is named after its first single, "Diamond Hoo Ha Man."
The disc features the return of bassist Mick Quinn, who broke his back and heel after sleepwalking out a window in France last year. Quinn posted photos of his injured foot and a reconstruction of the screw that was taken out of it on the band's website on April 2 along with this commentary:
"I've survived my operation and am already up and about and annoying people. All went well, they just removed the last pin in the foot to avoid any lurking infection from making itself at home."
Supergrass have a number of U.K. dates scheduled through the spring before they leave for the U.S. in July to open a tour for Foo Fighters.
Here's what you'll find on Diamond Hoo Ha:
"Diamond Hoo Ha Man""Bad Blood"
"Rebel In You"
"When I Needed You"
"345"
"The Return Of Inspiration"
"Rough Knuckles"
"Ghost Of A Friend"
"Whiskey & Green Tea"
"Outside"
"Butterfly"
