Historic Clash Performances Captured On Revolution Rock DVD

The legend of The Clash will carry on with Epic/Legacy's April 15 DVD release of The Clash Live: Revolution Rock.
The 22-track collection, which features performances from 1977 through 1982, was put together by longtime associate Don Letts, who was also a member of Big Audio Dynamite with Clash guitarist/singer Mick Jones. Letts — who has directed more than a dozen music documentaries, including The Essential Clash, The Clash: Westway To The World, Making Of London Calling: The Last Testament and Punk: Attitude — contributed some of his own footage to the new DVD. Bonus features include 1981 band interviews from The Tomorrow Show With Tom Snyder and NBC's Live At Five.
Jones' latest band, Carbon/Silicon, will release their commercial debut full-length, The Last Post, on April 8 through Caroline Records. Their shows in Vancouver and Toronto were cancelled due to apparent complications with bassist Leo "Eazykill" Williams' Jamaican passport.
