Danko Jones To Tour Canada In May

Danko Jones and his Toronto hard rock band of the same name will launch a Canadian tour next month.
The dates are in support of the band's fifth studio album, Never Too Loud, which was released domestically by Aquarius Records on March 18. The 2008 Chart Canadian Music Week showcase participants are currently in Europe, where Jones publishes bi-monthly columns in three different magazines. Danko Jones will return home on May 2 and will tour Canada until May 30. Then they'll cross the Atlantic again for a set of summer European festival dates and a U.K. tour with Motorhead in November.

Jones (vocals, guitar), John Calabrese (bass) and Dan Cornelius (drums) released two EPs before dropping their I'm Alive And On Fire full-length debut in 2001. Born A Lion (2002), We Sweat Blood (2003) and Sleep Is The Enemy (2006) followed. Jones released The Magical World Of Rock, a spoken-word album, in 2004.
