Constantines And Feist Team Up For Kenny Rogers/Dolly Parton Cover

This may be the thing you'd least expect to hear, but the Constantines and Feist have teamed up to record a cover of Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton's "Islands In The Stream" duet, which will be released as a seven-inch single by Arts & Crafts on April 1.
The indie music heavyweights reportedly recorded their version of the track with producer Jeff McMurrich in February. The track will be backed with the Constantines' "Trans Canada," which appears on their upcoming Kensington Heights album that's due on April 15 from Arts & Crafts. "Islands In The Stream" was penned by the Bee Gees and translated by Parton and Rogers into a chart-topping hit in 1983.
Feist has recently been shooting a puppet-filled video for "Honey Honey," the new single from The Reminder. You can catch her at Toronto's Sony Centre For The Performing Arts on May 13.
