Get Electronic In Montreal At The Mutek Festival

More than 80 electronic and digital music artists will perform at the ninth annual Mutek Festival in Montreal from May 28 to June 1.

Mutek is a Montreal-based organization, and the festival is usually rooted there, but it has also traveled to South America and Europe in previous years. Mutek also acts as an ambassador of Canadian culture with annual festivals in Mexico, Chile and Argentina. The company has also launched its own label, MUTEK_REC.

This year's event will also feature panel discussions and workshops. Ticket packages are available on the Mutek website and will include all performances.

Acts confirmed to perform so far are Carl Craig, Christian Fennesz, Radio Slave, The Field, Cristian Vogel, Kode9 & The SpaceApe, Modeselektor, Murcof, Sleeparchive, Tim Hecker, Noze, Rechenzentrum, Chloe, DJ Olive, Kid Koala, Megasoid, Knifehandchop, Jeremy P. Caulfield, Onur Ozer, Metrika, Matias Kaden and Dave Aju. The entire lineup will be revealed in mid-April and the professional daytime programming will be announced about a month later.
