Snoop Dogg To Remix One Life To Live Theme And Produce Animated Series

Snoop Dogg

Snoop Dogg is a busy man these days. His ninth studio album, Ego Trippin', hit stores this week and now the Doggfather is coming to a TV screen near you in both live action and animated form.

Snoop Dogg has just announced he is remixing the theme song for ABC's One Life To Live and will also make an "extended cameo" on the soap opera. You can catch him on the show May 8 and 9, when he'll appear in a few scenes and perform Ego Trippin' tracks "Sensual Seduction" and "Life Of Da Party" in Llanview, Pa., where the show is set. A Snoop Dogg remix of the series' theme song will also air during the show.

Snoop says he's been a fan of One Life To Live since he was a child. "My momma always had [One Life To Live] on the tube in tha crib growing up," he said. "The opportunity to change up the theme song and give it some of my flavour will make the show the 'Life Of The Party.'"

In the meantime, Snoop is also working on an animated series for Comedy Central about his adolescence in Long Beach, Calif. Snoop stars as a 15-year-old. The series does not have a title, but is scheduled to begin airing sometime next year. Comedy Central apparently wanted Snoop to work on the series because he is able to seamlessly transit between music and comedy.
