Queens Of The Stone Age To Release Canada-Only Live Album

Chart Magazine June 2007 cover stars Queens Of The Stone Age will be releasing a Canada-only live album on April 15. The concert recording will be part of a retooled Era Vulgaris album QOTSA will be hawking on their forthcoming tour of the great white north.

The "limited tour edition" of Era Vulgaris will feature the regular Era Vulgaris album you already paid $15 for, or more likely, ripped from your buddy. That package, however, is magically morphing into a two-disc set. The original album now receives bonus covers of songs from Elliott Smith, Billy Idol and Brian Eno along with a remix of the title track and an acoustic version of "Make It Wit Chu."

The second disc, Live @ Paradiso Amsterdam, features nine songs recorded live at the Paradiso in, you guessed it, Amsterdam. ?

Though not quite White Stripean in scale, the Queens dudes will embark on a solid coast-to-coast Canadian tour in the first half of May.
