Witch Are Paralyzed With New Album

Dinosaur Jr. singer/guitarist J Mascis moves to the drum kit again for the sophomore album for his other band, Witch, whose Paralyzed will be released by Tee Pee Records on March 18.
The Brattleboro, Vermont-based band also include Kyle Thomas (guitar, vocals), Dave Sweetapple (bass), Asa Irons (guitar) and Antoine Guerlain (guitar). The follow-up to their 2006 self-titled debut again showcases their tastes for punk, metal and classic rock. It was recorded at Mascis' Bisquiteen Studio in Amherst, Massachusetts and Bank Row Studio in Greenfield, Massachusetts with engineer and co-producer Justin Pizzoferrato. You can listen to "Eye" and "Sweet Sue" on Witch's MySpace page.
Witch admit to rarely practicing, but hopefully they'll get some of that in this week while they're in Austin, Texas for the South By Southwest Music Festival. Volcom Entertainment's vinyl single series will soon include a split seven-inch featuring Witch.
Here are the tracks on Paralyzed:
"Eye""Gone"
"1000 MPH"
"Disappear"
"Space God"
"Sweet Sue"
"Psychotic Rock"
"Mutated"
"Old Trap Line"
