Evangelista Enlist Silver Mt. Zion Members For Debut

Carla Bozulich's latest musical project, Evangelista (not to be confused with Dublin punks The Evangelists, Oklahoma's The Evangelicals or Canadian supermodel Linda Evangelista), will release their Hello Voyager debut on March 11 through Montreal's Constellation Records.
Bozulich is accompanied on the album, which will be available on CD and vinyl, by bandmates Tara Barnes and Shahzad Ismaily. There are also guest appearances from Godspeed You! Black Emperor/A Silver Mt. Zion's Thierry Amar, Sophie Trudeau and Efrim Menuck, as well as Wilco's Nels Cline. Hello Voyager was recorded by Menuck at Montreal's Hotel2Tango studio last summer.
Hello Voyager's "Truth Is Dark Like Outer Space" and "The Winds Of St. Anne" can be previewed on Evangelista's MySpace page.
Bozulich is a bit of a musical maverick and known for her previous work with defunct alt.country band the Geraldine Fibbers, industrial group Ethyl Meatplow and Scarnella. She has also collaborated with Willie Nelson, Lydia Lunch and Sonic Youth's Thurston Moore. Bozulich's first Constellation album was issued under her own name in 2006 and was titled Evangelista.
