Whether Bigfoot will make an appearance remains to be seen, but more than 50 acts have been confirmed for this year's Sasquatch Music Festival.
This is the indie-centric festival's sixth year, and it will be held from May 24 to 26 at the Gorge Amphitheatre near George, Washington. The lineup includes R.E.M., The Cure, The Flaming Lips' "U.F.O. Show," Death Cab For Cutie, Modest Mouse and M.I.A.. Canadians Tegan & Sara, The New Pornographers and Destroyer will also perform.
Tickets go on sale March 8 on the festival's website. For that weekend only, they'll cost $55.50 U.S. per day. They can be purchased at $65.50 per day after March 10, and the price rises to $75.50 per day after May 19. Those who wish to attend all three days can buy weekend passes for $150.50 until March 9 at midnight. One dollar from each ticket purchase will be donated to charity. On-site camping is also available at $40 a day per vehicle, or $100 for all three days.
The Sasquatch Music Festival began in 2002 and previous events have featured Arcade Fire, Bloc Party, Interpol, Pixies and The Postal Service.
