Rush will release a live album on April 8 to coincide with the launch of the second leg of their North American tour in support of their latest studio album.
The double-disc release, Snakes & Arrows Live, was recorded in Rotterdam, Netherlands in October. It features 27 tracks, including nine songs from last year's Snakes & Arrows. Lead single "Workin' Them Angels" will be released to rock radio stations next month.
Rush released their first live album, All The World's A Stage, in 1976. It was recorded at Toronto's Massey Hall during the world tour for 2112. Four more live albums followed: Exit… Stage Left (1981), A Show Of Hands (1988), Different Stages (1998) and Rush In Rio (2003). Rush also released a live DVD titled R30: 30th Anniversary Tour in 2005.
Rush's tour begins on April 11 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Here are the Canadian dates:
