Fall Out Boy Swear Too Much, But They Love Michael Jackson

Fall Out Boy

Chicago emo quintet Fall Out Boy have avoided the wordiness of their song titles by naming their forthcoming live CD/DVD ****.

The band's performance was recorded last June at the Cricket Pavilion in Phoenix, Arizona and included such popular songs as "Dance, Dance," "Thanks Fr The Mmrs" and "This Ain't A Scene, It's An Arms Race." But the group's choice of covers might even be more interesting: Akon's "Don't Matter," Timbaland's "One And Only" and labelmates and so-close-they're-almost-kin Panic At The Disco's "I Write Sins, Not Tragedies." There's also a studio version of Michael Jackson's "Beat It" featuring an unnamed "special guest guitarist" included in the package, which will be released by Island on April 8.

The DVD features eight music videos, behind the scenes footage and a look at the making of the video for "Me & You" in Uganda. It will also be available separately from the CD.

The complicated-to-pronounce title is an homage to how much Fall Out Boy cuss onstage.

"Before watching ourselves on film we never really realized how much we swear," says bassist Pete Wentz on the band's blog. "Its pretty gross.

"And as for how to say the name, well any little four letter word will work."

OK. We choose "lame."
