Elvis Costello And The Attractions' classic This Year's Model, which was first released in 1978 and reissued with bonus tracks by Rykodisc 15 years later, will receive another reissue via Hip-O/Universal on March 4.
The Nick Lowe-produced album will now come as a two-disc set. The first one adds 11 B-sides and alternate takes, including a live cover of The Damned's "Neat Neat Neat," demo recordings of three songs and unreleased studio versions of two others to the original LP. The second CD contains a concert recorded on Feb. 28, 1978 at the Warner Theater in Washington, D.C. that featured material from Costello's My Aim Is True debut as well as This Year's Model.
You'll probably hear some of those songs when Costello and his latest band, The Imposters, open for The Police on their North American tour this spring and summer. The only Canadian show will be held at Ottawa's Scotiabank Place on May 1.
