Eminem To Publish His Memoirs

Eminem will unveil a little more about his life to the public on Oct. 16 with the publication of his memoirs titled Eminem: The Way I Am.
The book will be published by Orion and feature previously unseen photographs, journal notes, hand-drawn art, lyric sketches and a narrative and introduction written by the rapper.
"Everyone has their own take on Eminem," says Orion's Ian Preece who thinks that the tome will be one of the books of the year.
"Because of where he is from, people think they know where he is at, what kind of person he really is. This book cuts through all that and gets to the source."
"The Way I Am" was Eminem's second single from 2000's The Marshall Mathers LP, which was considered much darker and more powerful than 1999's The Slim Shady LP.
There have been a few books written about the controversial rapper, including The Dark Story of Eminem and Whatever You Say I Am: The Life And Times Of Eminem, The MC/producer/label executive/actor issued a collection of lyrics, commentary and photos in a 2002 paperback titled Angry Blonde.
Eminem has sold more than 70 million albums worldwide, but hasn't released a studio LP of his own since 2004's Encore. He's been working on new material, however, and there's speculation that a new record could come out this year.
